`""""This is my Virtual Private Server (fancy way to say someone else's rented computer), kindly hosted by the absolute best VPS provider in the world, Contabo (not sponsored lmao they're jus that good)!
This machine is the one hosting this very website. As noticeable by the FastFetch output copy-pasted straight from the shell, we have:
- 12 GB of RAM (embarassing to say but that's more than my laptop ;-;)
- a high speed 100 GB NVMe SSD for storage
- an enterprise grade EPYC hexa-core processor @ 2.79 GHz
- and a 300 Mb/s public static IP address. Cozy for me lol!

Locale: en_GB.UTF-8This is my main daily driver laptop, my workstation. It's a Toshiba Satellite L50-B-1R7 from 2014 with 8 GB of RAM, 500GB of SATA SSD, 2 GPUs, a reasonably efficient CPU and nothing else in particular.
This particular computer comes from the IT lab of an elementary/middle school in Soccavo (Naples) that were sold for cheap to an senior general technician in town and sold for 300€ a piece. We bought 2, the other one is the family computer, all in all identical to this one.
It has a 4 hour battery (now it's closer to 2-3 hours due to some weird chemical phenomenons), a reflective 1366x768 eDP embedded scree, a 640x480 embedded webcam with hardware-coded signaling LED, an extremely sensitive microphone, a DVD unit (plays and burns) and pretty good speakers.
I plan to upgrade to 16 GB of RAM (~40€) and an opaque 1920x2080 embedded eDP screen (~70€). Or i could simply buy a new fairly modern laptop (2018-2019 is perfect for me, newest models go at about 600€ or 700€) and enjoy. Idk.
